1. Our Role

Vehicles South Africa operates purely as a digital advertising platform. We do not own, inspect, or sell the vehicles listed. We facilitate the connection between buyers and sellers.

2. Seller Responsibilities

In accordance with the CPA, sellers (especially dealerships) must:

Disclose all known defects of the vehicle.
Not engage in misleading or false advertising.
Honor the implied warranty of quality (Section 56) where applicable (6 months for dealerships).

3. "Voetstoots" Clauses

Private Sales: The CPA does not generally apply to private one-off sales. Vehicles are sold "as is" (Voetstoots) unless the seller fraudulently concealed defects.

Dealer Sales: Dealers CANNOT sell vehicles "Voetstoots". They must adhere to CPA warranty provisions unless a specific defect was disclosed and accepted by the buyer in writing.

4. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding a vehicle purchased via a lead from this site:

Attempt to resolve it directly with the seller.
If the seller is a dealer, escalate to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA).
Contact the National Consumer Commission (NCC).
